About OFF
From the moment he found himself with the necessary resources, George Ostrovsky pursued ways to support his family, causes and institutions in Brazil, the USA and Israel. He started his philanthropic work in Israel prior to statehood, and in 1972 he decided to concentrate his efforts on establishing the Jerusalem Film Centre. The organization, which includes a cinematheque and archive, was also equipped with operating, programming and preservation resources.
In 1987, this donor entity became the Ostrovsky Family Fund (OFF) and shifted its mission to a broader one of encouraging progressive art initiatives around the world.

Associação Cultural Videobrasil
Founded by Solange O. Farkas in 1991, Associação Cultural Videobrasil results from a wish to institutionally house a growing collection of works and publications, a collection that started with the first edition of the Festival de Arte Contemporânea Sesc_Videobrasil (Sesc_Videobrasil Contemporary Art Festival), in 1983. The association has since worked systematically to spotlight this collection, which includes works from the geopolitical south of the globe – Latin America, Africa, Eastern Europe, Asia, and the Middle East -, video art classics, the association’s own productions and a vast collection of publications about art.
